Listening to Jesus, Day 20 – The Shadow of Adversity

September 11, 2015

Fourteen years ago Americans discovered how much our enemies hate us and want to kill us. We are still asking,  “Why?” How are their problems related to us, and what will our destruction mean to them? Will it tell them that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are meaningless pursuits? Life was given by our God, who gave all men and women those rights. It took this country over one hundred years to understand the meaning, and we are still learning. There is only one way to invoke peace in the hearts of others — pray for them. May the Lord reach out and give them and us hope for a peaceful tomorrow.

Let’s roll!

(Psalm 31: 8) Thou knowest our troubles and adversities.

(Luke 10: 41-42) Jesus said, “Martha do not trouble about small things. Like Mary, dwell on the Lord.”

((Philippians  3 :20-21) He is able to subdue all things.
